Pre-GAME
Bowling show ugly, yes we said it! That was the game against Carolina. Ottawa failed to score a single goal in a game that saw the return of David Perron to the line-up. Now, Ottawa must face the always difficult task of beating the Edmonton Oilers!

GAME DAY REPORT

Senators vs. Oilers
Last season: The Senators faced the Edmonton Oilers twice last season tying the series with a 3-1 loss on January 6th but powering back with an incredible 5-3 victory on March 24th in which the Senators scored in 3 out of 4 power plays.
Game Day: After a disastrous game against Carolina, Ottawa must turn their attention to an always powerful Edmonton Oilers team. Edmonton lost to Toronto 4-3 in OT on Saturday and faced the Montreal Canadiens yesterday. Interestingly enough, Edmonton boasts one of the league’s worst penalty kills and sits at the bottom of the league in goals scored and power play. This might provide an edge for the Senators who still sit on top of the league on the power play and in the mid-point on average goals scored per game.
