Game Day – Sens vs. Kings – Nov 30, 2024

Pre-GAME

The Senators went into San Jose and stole the game! They used an unusual strategy of NOT SHOOTING on the net to win the game. The Sharks pounced on the Senators when the puck dropped but Ottawa scored the first goal on the first shot, then scored a second goal on the 3rd shot. By the 10th shot, they already had a 3-1 lead in the game. That is when they deployed their ultra secret strategy, stop shooting. For nearly 15 minutes the Senators did not register a single shot allowing the Sharks to score twice to tie up the game. Then, the Senators changed their tactic and fired ONE SINGLE SHOT and they scored! That was the game winner! Granted the goals were a result of some deflected passes by Stutzle to Gaudette but that is how Ottawa stole the game.

Ullmark recorded a big win, facing 38 shots and recording his first win after experiencing 4 consecutive losses. Tyler Kleven scored his first NHL goal and Adam Gaudette scored twice for the Senators to win back-to-back games.
