Pre-GAME
The California road trip resulted in a balanced result over 1-1-1, 1 win over San Jose (a steal), 1 loss in Los Angeles and a shootout point in Anaheim in a closely contested game. The Senators return home for a 4-game homestead and will then travel to Carolina before returning home for a final game in December before embarking on a 9 game road-trip which starts before the holiday break and continues until January 9th!

GAME DAY REPORT

Senators vs. Red Wings
Last Season: The Senators faced the Detroit Red Wings four times last year, taking the series with 3 games to 1. It all started with the first home loss of the season on October 21st, in a 5-2 loss with DeBrincat’s return to Ottawa. Next, Ottawa took an overtime victory, 5-4 on November 16th followed by a 5-1 win on December 9th in a game that saw David Perron being ejected for a hit on Zub. That could have made for an awkward conversation during training camp! Lastly, the Senators scored an overtime victory, 3-2 on January 31st.
Game Day: Senators snagged a point in the Anaheim game while Detroit did the same, losing in overtime to the Boston Bruins. The Senators have lost two games in a row while Detroit is riding a 3 game losing streak. Somethings gotta give tonight!
