Pre-GAME
With Linus Ullmark out with a back injury, Mads Soogard started against the Winnipeg Jets in a 4-2 loss. Despite holding a 2-0 lead early in the 2nd period, the Senators faltered as Winnipeg scored four unanswered goals. Merilainen may start in net tomorrow as it’s unknown if Forsberg is ready to return to the net. Challenges with the netminders will add extra pressure on the Senators during this extended road trip.
