FUTURE SENS – Matthew Highmore

It’s not often we refer to a prospect when a player has 8 years of experience in the NHL but that is where Matthew Highmore finds himself. The Halifax native has 146 NHL games under his belt, spending three seasons with the Blackhawks followed by stints with the Canucks and St. Louis before joining the Senators last season.

Highmore played most of the season with the Belleville Senators but did play 7 games with the big club last year. He has yet to be called up this year for the Ottawa Senators but has played 21 games for the Belleville Sens, scoring 1 goal and registering 7 assists.
