Pre-GAME
In a stark contrast to the game against the Islanders, the Senators came to play and defeated the Anaheim Ducks 5-1. Drake Batherson scored his 100th goal and scored a natural hat trick along the way. After a four game homestead (3-1), the Senators embark on a short road trip to Carolina before heading back home for their last home game of the year against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

🥳 Happy Birthday Mads Sogaard 🎂
Happy 24th birthday to Mads, drafted in 2019 by the Ottawa Senators in the 2nd-round – 37th overall, the Allborg, Denmark native has played 28 games with the Senators over the last 4 years. Used only as an emergency backup for a handful of games until the 2022-23 season when he played in 19 games due to injuries to both goaltenders. Often called the “goalie of the future” for the Senators, Mads Soogar is assigned to the Belleville Senators.
In 2014, Dave Cameron recorded his first win with the Ottawa Senators in a game against Boston (3-2 SO win).
