Worst Maple Leaf of All time?
Coming in at number 1 is John Nordic according to thesporster.com. Maple Leafs’ general manager Gord Stellick made one of the worst trades in NHL history back in November of 1988 when he sent speedy winger Russ Courtnall to arch rivals the Montreal Canadiens for 6-foot-1 enforcer John Kordic. The Leafs also received a sixth-round draft choice in the deal. Kordic played parts of three seasons in Toronto and found the back of the net 10 times in 104 games to go along with his six assists. He also racked up 446 penalty minutes and added as lone assist in five playoff games with 33 penalty minutes.

In 2003, PricewaterhouseCoopers received acceptance of Rob Bryden and his co-investor’s offer by the club’s senior lenders. The conditional sale requires final court approval and for a separate sale of the arena to be completed first.
⇄ Fisher Moves To Nashville
In 2011, the Ottawa Senators acquired a 1st-round pick in the 2011 NHL Draft and a 3rd-round pick in 2012 NHL Draft from Nashville in exchange for forward Mike Fisher. With the 1st-round pick, Ottawa selected Stefan Nosen and traded him to Anaheim along with a 1st-round pick for the 2014 NHL Draft and Jakob Silverberg for Bobby Ryan in July 2013.
Nosen played a handful of games with Anaheim before being claimed off waivers by New Jersey on January 25, 2017. He played 145 games for the Devils over three seasons before signing as a free agent with Pittsburgh in 2019 but only played 6 games for the club before he was claimed off waivers by San Jose on December 19, 2019. He played 34 games for the Sharks the rest of the year and played 5 games for them the following year before he was traded to Toronto in a three-team trade that involved Nick Foligno. He only played a game with Toronto before signing as a free agent with Carolina where has has spent the last three years.

Shane Pinto originally wore jersey #67 during the 2020-21 season before changing to #57. The following year he changed his jersey number from #57 to #12. When the Senators acquired Alex Debrincat, Shane Pinto gave up his number to Debrincat and returned to jersey #57.
