PLAYER PROFILE – Michael Amadio
Michael Amadio was drafted in the 3rd round – 30th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. The Sault Ste. Marie native started his career with the Kings, signing a 3 year entry level contract on March 13, 2016. He was traded to the Senators on March 29, 2021 for Christian Wolanin. His stay in Ottawa was short as he signed the following year with the Toronto Maple Leafs. His stay in Toronto was equally short as he was claimed off waivers by the Vegas Golden Knight on October 30, 2021.
Good fortunes shined on Amadio as he captured a Stanley Cup while in Vegas before signing a multi-year free agency contract with the Ottawa Senators on July 1, 2024.
