Senators vs. Maple Leafs

Last season: The Senators faced the Toronto Maple Leafs four times last season with the Senators winning the season series 3-1. It started with a win on November 8, beating Toronto 6-3 followed by a defeat a month later on December 7th, 4-3. Twenty days later the Senators became victories in a 4-2 win and concluded the win on February 10th with a 5-3 score.

Game Day: The Toronto Maple Leafs are riding a 3 game winning streak as the Ottawa Senators are set to step on the ice at the Scotiabank Arena for game 1 in the Battle of Ontario. Ottawa faced some recent woes but played a strong game against Boston, notching the victory. PLAYER PROFILE – Michael Amadio

Michael Amadio was drafted in the 3rd round – 30th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. The Sault Ste. Marie native started his career with the Kings, signing a 3 year entry level contract on March 13, 2016. He was traded to the Senators on March 29, 2021 for Christian Wolanin. His stay in Ottawa was short as he signed the following year with the Toronto Maple Leafs. His stay in Toronto was equally short as he was claimed off waivers by the Vegas Golden Knight on October 30, 2021.

Good fortunes shined on Amadio as he captured a Stanley Cup while in Vegas before signing a multi-year free agency contract with the Ottawa Senators on July 1, 2024.

🎂Happy Birthday Shane Pinto 🥳
Pinto is celebrating his 24th birthday!  The Franklin Square, NY native recently played his 100th NHL game this season during the season opener against the Florida Panthers.

In 2022, Tim Stutzle registered the 100th point (a goal) of his NHL career at Philadelphia during a 4-1 win.  Also, Nick Holden played in his 600th game of his NHL career when he was with the Ottawa Senators and Cam Talbot played in his 400th NHL game.
