Pre-GAME
The Senators responded after two consecutive defeat to Colorado and Vegas by scoring 8 goals in their return home to face St. Louis. A well needed spark for a team that felt they left points on the table upon their return from the West Coast. Zack Ostapchuk was called up to replaced the injured Pinto and scored his first NHL point. The Senators also broke a record, scoring 8 goals against St. Louis for the first time in franchise history.
ERRATUM:
SensFanatics mistakenly referred to the St. Louis game as an away/road game and made reference to the Senators trying to get to .500 by defeating St. Louis. As was seen yesterday, the Senators returned to Ottawa to face St. Louis.
