SensFanatics – Season 2 – Coming Soon

Hello Ottawa Senators Fanatics! We are knee deep in the preseason schedule, with Ottawa scoring a pair of victories over division rival Toronto Maple Leafs before succumbing to the Buffalo Sabres in overtime and losing to the Pittsburgh Penguins last Saturday during Kraft Hockeville in Sudbury.

Ottawa still has 3 more games remaining, as they will face Montreal tonight at 7pm, the Detroit Red Wings on Friday, Oct 4th and the final game in Ottawa against Montreal on Oct 5th.

SensFanatics is gearing up for our second season launch which will coincide with the Ottawa Senators regular season debut on October 10th as they face Stanley Cup Champions Florida Panthers.

This year our Game Day posts will continue to be published each game day morning and will include some of these features:

The preseason is an exciting time as it provides an opportunity for fans to see prospects, rookies and players on try-out contracts trying to crack to the final roster. SensFanatics will be updating our Player Profile section once the final roster has been confirmed.

As of today, the following players have been cut or re-assigned from the preseason roster:

• Nikolay Kulemin – released from PTO
• Leevi Merilainen (G), Filip Roos (D) and Donovan Sebrango (D) – reassigned to AHL
